Geometric Diamond Wall Art

I have been seeing a lot of geometric diamonds lately and I have been loving them! I decided that I wanted to do some as wall art seeing as some of my walls are pretty bare. I knew I wanted them to be metallic and the background to be a gradient.

WrecK This Journal

Behold! My newest obsession, Wreck This Journal. So last week I was going through my YouTube feed and Bunny a.k.a grav3yardgirl had started a new series where she started a Wreck This Journal and by the end I was intrigued and hooked! I wanted to play to so off to amazon I went to order one.

I bet your probably wondering what the heck is a Wreck This journal? Basically its a Journal/art-journal with prompts. Like create a continuous line, and page of good thoughts. It also has prompts that get you to think out of the box, leave your comfort zone, like stand on this page and jump up and down. It reminds me a lot of the type of projects or exercises they would have us do in art school. Its the kind of thing that anyone could go with any artistic level. 

Monday Music Loves (they are back!!!)

Well Its been quite some time and I have lots of tunes to share! I'm not a music critic by any means I just know what I like. And these are some of the songs I have been loving.

Natalia Kills, Daddy's Girl

I have been in love with the whole Trouble album since it came out this summer. If your someone who misses the early days of Lady GaGa I suggest Natalia Kills to fill that void.

The Civil Wars, Devils Backbone

I love this song for the hints of county and blue grass but its not bombarding you with twangy I got my pickup truck and my girl just left me. God knows I can't stand the twangy red necks. They have incredible and beautiful voices.

Fall Out Boy, Alone Together

Well I never thought there would be a day where I would be saying I like fallout Boy. I guess never say never because I love their latest album. I'm not quite sure what drew me to it but I do appreciate that the lead singer has gotten better on his enunciation! This is one that I have been jamming out to for months now.

Back From The Wayside

Well its been some time since I've posted anything on her. a good 10 months to be exact.Sometimes life just gets in the way and things inevitably fall to the wayside. Work in the baker got pretty hectic over the past year and at points I felt like a one man army. I ended up getting a full time position and then  my overworked cake decorating are just burned out. Ive been on light duty since the end of August and most of that time my arm was either in too numb or in to much pain to do much of anything. Recently though it's been feeling much better, I can finally see the light at the end of this tunnel.

28 Days of Kisses (Day 14 Happy Valentine's Day!)

Revlon lipstick in Primrose is a nude/baby doll pink cream. I love it for everyday wear. It's one of my favorites because at the time I got it I was reading the Hunger Games books and loved the fact that it had the same name as Katniss's sitter... Primrose, which was the reason I bought it. Yeah things like that suck me in.

28 Days of Kisses (Day 13 Wet n' Wild Matte Lipstick 965 Cherry Picking)

Wet n' Wild Matte Lipstick 965 Cherry Picking is a bright pinky red. I have been really into matte's lately. I do find the Wet n' Wild matte lipsticks a bit difficult to apply. they tend to need more pressure than regular lipsticks to get the color on and drag ab bit when swiping them on. They do however have pretty good staying power.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 12 Studio Gear Cosmetics Foxy Pink Frost)

To start this color is neither Pink nor Frosty! It's more of a sheer raisin color with a bit of shimmer. It's a lot more intimidating in the tube than when actually applied. It's a good everyday kind of color for the fall & winter because of it's sheerness.

28 Days of kisses (Day 11 Rvlon 477 Black Cherry)

This is one of my favorite fall lipsticks. Black Cherry describes the color perfectly. One of the reasons I like it so much is you can wear it a couple ways. You can wear it full on applied heavily and get a nice dark vampie lip or just dab it on for a flush of sheer color.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 10 Famous Coral Reef)

Famous is a U.K brand. i had gotten this lipstick in a swap last year. It's such a fun experience to do a swap. You get to make new friends and try things you would never be able to try. I love the packaging on this lipstick. it's square and the end has a little fabric pull tab. It's a really creamy lipstick with great pigmentation.

28 Days Of Kisses ( Day 9 Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie, Dare Devil)

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie, Dare Devil is a shimmery sheer plum color. Quite possibly one of the weirdest lip glosses I have tried. It smells like Circus Peanuts candy... exactly! Then after a few moments of wearing it, it starts to tingle on the lips.

28 Oays Of Kisses (Day 8 NYX Round Lipstick Vitamin)

I had received this lipstick in a glam bag some months back and at first I wasn't sure if I would like the color because it seemed so shimmery and I'm not usually a fan of shimmery glittery lipsticks. Turned out I love it. It's more of a metallic sheen than glitter. It goes on supper smooth. I love the consistency of it smooth and creamy feeling.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 7,Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar, Tone)

So with this big snow storm work has been crazy for the past few days so I'm a little behind on my kisses. Working in a grocery store before a big storm you see just how crazy people are.

This just about sums it up!

However there is nothing like two days off and being snowed in to catch up.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Tone.  This is one of those colors I like to use when I do a really dark or colorful eye and I want to basically block my lips out. It's an extremely light flesh toned pink. It's also good for toning down bright vibrant colors.

Maybelline Master Duo 2 in 1 Gloss Liquid Liner is a liquid liner with a glossy finish. The applicator has two sides one to make a thick line and the other makes a thicker line. They come in 6 colors, Black, Purple, Navy Blue, Teal, Green, and Bronze.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 6 Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids 865 Fuchsia Flash) & Review

This is a new lipstick for me. It's from the Maybelline Vivid's line the has recently come out, which is a collection of extremely bright colors. Fuchsia Flash is a supper bright neon pink. The texture wasn't quite as creamy as I was expecting I found I needed two coats to get it to be that bright opaque neon. It feels nice on the lips with a glossy cream finish. I did find like with a lot of bright pinks it does stain the lips. I think it's going to be a great fun color for spring.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 5, No Makeup Face Day)

I'm a day late and a dollar short on this one. Yesterday was a no time for any makeup as I headed strait out the door for work. I really love and use the snooze button way too much.  On days like that the only thing that eventually makes it on to my face is my all time favorite Watermelon Lip Smacker. I probably have a couple in my bag one in my pocket and several around the house at all times. It has almost no color to it but gives a nice glossy sheen to the lips and is always moisturizing. There is almost no other lip balm that lives up to my Watermelon Lip Smacker.

Lately I'm pretty excited for the Movie Beautiful Creatures to come out. I'm a sucker for the teen paranormal romance genera. Who knew that would ever be a genera!? I kind of want to read the book before I see the movie but that probably wont happen. But any way I came across this look of Zoey Deutch on the Beautiful creatures Facebook fan page. I thought it was really pretty and interesting and wanted to take a stab at recreating it.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 4, Mirenesse Lip Bomb #2)

I had received this lip product back in October in my Ipsy Glam bag. It's a lip-gloss/stain in a true blue based blood red. It's supper pigmented and lasts a really long time. The gloss is not at all sticky and nicely moisturizing. I have to say it's become one of my favorite reds.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 3 Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain, Honey)

So it was one of those days where it was get up for work get dressed and out the door. No time for makeup, coffee is more important at 5:30 a.m. I mine as well call out if I don't have my coffee on the walk in. On days like this I'll grab something like a lip balm or natural color. That's why I like Just Bitten Balm Stain in Honey, it's one of those my lips but better colors. It's moisturizing and the stain lasts a good amount of time which is good thing in the bakery on Supper bowl Sunday. It was crazy today you would of thought it was a holiday or something.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 2)

Day 2! Today was a purple Kind of day. Purple eyes purple lips, it's one of my favorite colors. And really I'm just wishing for spring and trying to egg it on with pastel purple.
