I really liked the applicator I found it made applying the lashes a lot easier. I have extremely bad eyesight in one eye so it makes it really difficult to apply lashes to the good eye because I have to close it and the applicator made it a lot easier to do. I do wish the handle on the applicator was a bit longer though. I was not a fan of the lash glue however. I found it very watery and took quite a bit of time to dry and get tacky. The one thing I did like about it was that it was a bottle with a wand. I liked the concept of the wand in the glue bottle which made the glue easier to apply to the lashes. The normal glue I use is in a bottle and I have to squeeze some on my hand then apply it with the back of my tweezers. So the wand was defiantly helpful.
Overall I think the starter kit is a good product especially for someone who is new to false lashes or has troubles applying them.
