Wet N' Wild Cool As A Cucumber Pallet REVIEW & FOTD

last week I was feeling pretty down and in need of some makeup retail therapy so I headed to the drug store. Not much caught my eye of anything that I needed or wanted except this Wet N' Wild Cool As A Cucumber Pallet. I thought hey here are some nice fall colors. I'm sucking every last bit of fall out that I can... it's supposed to snow today, Boo. I'm not ready for the cold weather.

As far as the colors themselves go I really like them. they all have a shimmer to them You have a mossy dark green color, deep eggplant burgundy, and a very light shimmery pale green.

When I swatches them I was a bit dissapointed. The best one was the very light green. It was soft and buttery feeling and nicely pigmented. The burgundy color was by far the most disappointing. the texture of the the shadow was a bit hard and the pigmentation was poor. The swatch up above took 4 swipes and it didn't preform much better when applied to the eye. It was hard to get the product on the brush and took several applications to get the color I was looking for. The dark moss green fared a bit better it was a bit softer and a bit more pigmented but still in the swatch took two applications to get it to show good. On the eye though it was a lot better when used with a base. In the FOTD I used Maybelle's color tattoo in mossy green and it came out quite nice.

your welcome. I will add though they look much better with a base.
Looks really beautiful! I'm very curious about Wet 'n Wild eyeshadows, I've never tried them before!

They are worth a try. For the price they are pretty good quality. I think the trios run about 2.99$. The brand has come a ling way in quality from when I was 13 and tried it for the first time.
