28 Days of Kisses (Day 13 Wet n' Wild Matte Lipstick 965 Cherry Picking)

Wet n' Wild Matte Lipstick 965 Cherry Picking is a bright pinky red. I have been really into matte's lately. I do find the Wet n' Wild matte lipsticks a bit difficult to apply. they tend to need more pressure than regular lipsticks to get the color on and drag ab bit when swiping them on. They do however have pretty good staying power.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 12 Studio Gear Cosmetics Foxy Pink Frost)

To start this color is neither Pink nor Frosty! It's more of a sheer raisin color with a bit of shimmer. It's a lot more intimidating in the tube than when actually applied. It's a good everyday kind of color for the fall & winter because of it's sheerness.

28 Days of kisses (Day 11 Rvlon 477 Black Cherry)

This is one of my favorite fall lipsticks. Black Cherry describes the color perfectly. One of the reasons I like it so much is you can wear it a couple ways. You can wear it full on applied heavily and get a nice dark vampie lip or just dab it on for a flush of sheer color.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 10 Famous Coral Reef)

Famous is a U.K brand. i had gotten this lipstick in a swap last year. It's such a fun experience to do a swap. You get to make new friends and try things you would never be able to try. I love the packaging on this lipstick. it's square and the end has a little fabric pull tab. It's a really creamy lipstick with great pigmentation.

28 Oays Of Kisses (Day 8 NYX Round Lipstick Vitamin)

I had received this lipstick in a glam bag some months back and at first I wasn't sure if I would like the color because it seemed so shimmery and I'm not usually a fan of shimmery glittery lipsticks. Turned out I love it. It's more of a metallic sheen than glitter. It goes on supper smooth. I love the consistency of it smooth and creamy feeling.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 6 Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids 865 Fuchsia Flash) & Review

This is a new lipstick for me. It's from the Maybelline Vivid's line the has recently come out, which is a collection of extremely bright colors. Fuchsia Flash is a supper bright neon pink. The texture wasn't quite as creamy as I was expecting I found I needed two coats to get it to be that bright opaque neon. It feels nice on the lips with a glossy cream finish. I did find like with a lot of bright pinks it does stain the lips. I think it's going to be a great fun color for spring.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 3 Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain, Honey)

So it was one of those days where it was get up for work get dressed and out the door. No time for makeup, coffee is more important at 5:30 a.m. I mine as well call out if I don't have my coffee on the walk in. On days like this I'll grab something like a lip balm or natural color. That's why I like Just Bitten Balm Stain in Honey, it's one of those my lips but better colors. It's moisturizing and the stain lasts a good amount of time which is good thing in the bakery on Supper bowl Sunday. It was crazy today you would of thought it was a holiday or something.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 2)

Day 2! Today was a purple Kind of day. Purple eyes purple lips, it's one of my favorite colors. And really I'm just wishing for spring and trying to egg it on with pastel purple.

28 Days Of Kisses (Day 1, Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede #005 Muse)

For the month of February I will be participating in 28 Days of Kisses Hosted by Nykki of Nykky-talks-beauty. The idea is you post everyday for 28 days showcasing a different lipstick. This is going to be a challenge for me as lipstick is usually the last thing I think to put on when I do my makeup and if I do remember I always forget to reapply. So it's going to a good way to get use out of my lipsticks. It's also going to be a good way to get back into posting more often.  Plus I'll get practice of lip swatches. I have to admit I usually for go them and just swatch on my arm because I have a hard time getting a good lip swatch photo.

FOTD (September 16th)

Oh boy do I love being able to pull out the Fall makeup colors again. You can never go wrong with a neutral pinup eye look and some plum/berry dark lipstick. The leaves are already starting to change here so que up the fall inspiration. It's time to have fun with the warm tones and vampy lips.

Turn your Favorite OCC Lip Tar Into Your Favorite Lip Balm

I love Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars. But one of the downfalls is that they are hard to reapply on the go. You need a mirror and a lip brush. That's why I was supper excited when Koren came out with several videos showing how to make your Lip Tars into Lipsticks and Lip Balms. Plus considering I always apply a balm or gloss over the lip tar anyway this was a perfect combination.  I'm so in love with this I had to share.
