Last week I received some Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes in the mail from Imfluenster to try out. So I have been wearing it for the past week which is a feet for me I almost never get through a full 7 days of one color of nail polish.

Don't settle for just color when you can get a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, salon-inspired color, top coat, chip-resistance and a gel finish all in 1 bottle. Maybelline 24/7 Color Tattoo Metal Review.

Cream gel eyeshadow for long-lasting shimmery metallic shades
Smooth, Bold Metallic Shades
24HR wear cream gel formula for smooth application

 Maybelline.com description.

After hitting up some photos of swatches online the only colors that I was interested in were Inked in Pink and Electric blue. The silver and gold shades seemed really spotty and grainy glittery.

This collection is describes as being Metallic, but the two shades that I got don't come off as metallic to me they are more of a pearl or a shimmer. The fact that they are not metallic doesn't bother me because they are still really nice shades but if your going to describe a collection as metallic they should be what you say they are.

Last week Rite Aid had a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale on Wet N Wild makeup so I picked up a few pallets that I had been meaning to try. Two pallets for $7.49 I couldn't pass it up especially after winning 20$ on a scratch off ticket the day before.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer Downtown Brown Review

I was perusing the fall collections at the local drugstore and just glanced by this color at first but at a second look I had fallen in love. I'm not usually one for brown colors but this one had something special, Duochrome! Yep I'm a sucker for any nail polish with duochrome.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

I'm defiantly a sucker for a Revlon lip product. Their lipsticks are by far my favorite, so when they come out with something new I have to try it. Once  again Revlon has not let me down.

It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood.

-Lightweight Lip stain + Moisturizing Balm
-100% of women who tried it felt their lips were instantly moisturized with a soft stain of color
-Retractable chubby crayon, no sharpener required

Sample Sunday ( Epic Fail Eye Rock Designer Liner)

A while back I had received the Eye Rock Designer Liner in my Birchbox and finally decided to give them a try. Essentially wheat they are is a eye liner in sticker form.

I assume what the company was going for was to make a product that makes doing dramatic eyeliner easy and simple as putting a sticker on. Well it was not easy or simple! These were very difficult to put on. They felt so weird and uncomfortable on. They made my eyes water. Peeling them off didn't feel good, it hurt a bit. It would be much easier and quicker to do eyeliner with a pencil or brush. If anyone where thinking of trying these just don't do it. The eye Rock designer liner is an epic fail all around.

Review: Urban Decay Eyeshadow & 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

I recently picked up a few things from the Urban Decay friends and family sale, and I'm so glad I did. I have found two of the most amazing eye color products. They both have such unique color, texture and effects.

E.L.F. High Definition Powder Review

I find that e.l.f. products are always hit or miss. Sometimes they are a good product for a great price and other times they fall in to the you get what you pay for. This High Definition Powder is a little off  mark for me.

L'Oreal paris Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow Review

L'Oreal's claims
  • Intense maximized color
  • Luxurious powder-cream texture
  • 24-hour long-lasting hold
  • Waterproof, crease resistant, fade resistant
description from loreal.com

These come in 12 shades. Most are shimmery neutrals there are a few more colorful colors like blue, green and purple.

I have heard that theses are a good drugstore dupe for the Armani Eyes To kill eyeshadows, but that is probably due to the fact that they are both under the same parent company and use similar formulas. So if you were looking to try the Armani shadows but not at the $32 price this might be a better way to go.  As for what I think of the L'Oral Infallible 24 HR shadows.....

Love it or leave it? Personally I'd leave it.  As far as the claims go it doesn't hold up. It does have a nice powder-cream texture, but as fare as intense maximized color goes it swatches on the fingers nicely yet when applied from there to the skin the pigmentation doesn't show up as intense. I did also find the shadow hard to work with. It was hard to pickup onto a brush and then apply to the eye. The best way to apply it was with the fingers, even then it wasn't ideal. As far as 24 hour long lasting hold goes it couldn't even hold up for 8 hours without creasing and that was with an eyeshadow primer.

Would I purchase other shades? No, I think that it's not worth the nearly $10 for one color that is hard to work with and does not hold up.

So far I'm loving these shadows. They are a cream shadow that set and will not budge. I do recommend working quickly with them to blend them out, the shadows will set quickly. The shadows last all day with out creasing for me which says a lot because I very oily lids and even after 14 hours no creasing. I can't imagine a need to wear shadow for 24 hours These shadows work great by themselves as all over color or as a base for other shadows.  I can't wait to try out some more colors and I think these would be a great addition to any makeup collection.
