I
like to shake things up every now and then so I decided to go red. Even though
I have done it before and the upkeep for red hair is notoriously a pain. There
is just something about being a red head that makes me feel saucy. They say
blonds have more fun but I’m convinced it’s red heads. You defiantly get
noticed more as a red head. It's funny friends and even my mother said that I should of
been born a red head.
been born a red head.

This
hair color was really easy to use. All you needed to do was squeeze the foam
into your hand and apply to the hair, there was no fiddling with special applicators.
The foam formula does a great job at saturating all the hair unlike cream
formulas that don’t soak through to all the hair leaving splotches. I loved the
provided gloves, which were black latex or vinyl gloves that fit well and were
sturdy. Sometimes I find that with hair the provided gloves feel like plastic
sandwich bags and are always way to big.
The
only problem that occurred was that I started off with bleached blond hair
which did not absorb the color well and let my hair with a pink tint. I ended
up applying another bottle, and with the second bottle my hair finally absorbed
the color. So note if you’re starting as
a light blond going for the 6R light red brown you may need to do it twice.
Blonds, especially bleached blonds have very little pigment in the hair for the
color to grab onto.
I
would also do this in a well ventilated place the color has a lot of fumes to
it and can be pretty strong.
