“Oatmeal Honey Coffee Face Mask” Home Remedy Series Part 2

This is one of my favorite homemade face masks. It helps to calm redness and tighten the skin. It always leaves my complexion even and minimize a breakout.

You will need
-A Blender
-1 cup quick cooking oats
- 2 Tbs of Coffee Grounds
-2 Tbs of Milk
-1/2 Cup Hot Water
-A Squeeze of Honey

Blend dry oatmeal first to break it down some and then add rest of the ingredients and blend. It should be a thick consistency. If mixture is still hot let cool so not to burn your face. Then apply the mix all over the face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Wash off with wash cloth.

What the ingredients do for your skin
Oatmeal - is used primarily for its skin calming, anti-inflammatory
Coffee - caffeine in coffee has a number of benefits for your skin, from treating redness and inflammation, to reducing the appearance of under-eye circles, to getting rid of cellulite
Honey - Honey is the ultimate natural antibacterial agent its acidity plays an important role in its antibacterial activity
Milk - can help exfoliate dead skin, and refine the layer underneath. Milk makes the skin becomes smooth, shiny and not scaly.

  3. I've tried your Oatmeal Honey Coffee Face Mask and I love it, I've been doing it once a week. By the way, I once read that doing coffee scrub can reduce cellulite formation from Cellulean reviews. Can you show us how to make a coffee scrub?

  5. Stopping by from the blog hop. I used to do something similar when I had acne. I would wash my face, then steam it for 5 minutes, apply the mask, and put warm paraffin wax over the scrub. It would stay on for 15 minutes and then I would rinse off. It was messy but it helped with the acne.
